This brand was developed by Francisco Fonseca in 1906. His picture adorns the box of cigars even today. The Fonseca brand exhibits a rich but mild flavor. It is available only in limited distribution.
In 1907 the trademark of Fonseca was registered at first time by the Spaniard Don Francisco Fonseca. In the beginning of 20th century, the Fonseca Cuban cigars were manufactured in several different Havana cigar factories. They are now produced in the province of Havana, in a small town Quivic'n. |
